Long Weekend!

We had a wonderful long weekend! On the 3rd we went over to James and Susi's house and had a BBQ. I was a ton of fun (thanks guys). Jody had to work and since the fireworks in Logan are on the 3rd of July, I packed a couple chairs and drove up to Jody's work and we set them up in the parking lot and watched the fireworks from Convergys. It was nice to just be with each other.

On the 4th we drove to Layton and made it just in time for the parade. It was pretty hot but we had a lot of fun. Emilee and mom came too. We saw Adrian and Karen Cooper driving Kade's Ford and it brought a few tears but all in all it was a fun parade.
We still miss Kade a lot but it was neat to see his family pay such a tribute to Kade. We love you guys!

After the parade we went to mom and dad Robinson's to get some food and games together to go to the Clearfield park. We put up the tent for some shade, kicked back and relaxed. Dad and Jody played some domino's and the girls mostly sat and talked and walked around the fair. Emi tried to climb the rock wall. We brought a small BBQ and Jody grilled up some burgers and Bratts. We watched some amazing fireworks and just enjoyed each others company. It was such a fun day! Thanks mom and dad!
Jody and I were able to go on a little date on Saturday. It was sure nice. We cant even remember the last time we went to a movie just the two of us. We went to Walle. It was cute. I got to choose the movie. Jody is the best hubby ever. I hope there are many more date nights to come...
