I know it is not quite Thanksgiving, but knowing me as well as I do, I am pretty sure I will not be posting for a few days. I have many things that I am thankful for this year. Some big and some very simple. Here is my list... in no particular order...
I am sorry ahead of time for some of the mushieness you are about to read
1. My Job. Although many times I curse my job and complain about it, I am grateful that I have had no financial repercussion from this dreaded economy. Many people I love and admire have not been so lucky.
2. My Health. I am not the healthiest person in the world, but recently I have had some tests done and they all have come back ok. I am healthier than I thought I was. I am thankful for that...
3. My Husband. I am quite possibly married to the most perfect husband on the planet. :) Jody is the most wonderful man. He loves me, for who I am. He carries so much weight on his back for our family. Working over 40 hours a week and going to school 13 credits and Acing all of his classes, really helps me keep my mere 40 hours of work in check. He is the sweetest man I know.
4. The Priesthood. I am thankful to have a husband who holds and honors his priesthood. I did not grow up with the priesthood in my home, and I am so thankful that I married a man who holds it. I am thankful for the many blessings that Jody has given to me of comfort and healing.
5. My Family. Both immediate and in-laws. My parents are the most wonderful people. You can never feel out of place with them. My brother is a wonderful man and there was a point in time where we fought like crazy. I am sooo thankful that we have both grown to love each other and become great friends. I love my Chaddie! My in-laws are amazing people as well. They also accept me. The brothers and sisters in-law are just like my own brothers and sisters. In fact that is how I introduce them. Since we don't live very close to my family I am glad we live pretty close to Jody's family. It is so nice to have family near by.
6. My Grandparents. I have been blessed with wonderful grandparents. First, My grandma and Grandpa Robinson. They have each taught me so much. Grandpa tough me patients on the fishing boat. He tough me that the more teeth that I lost, the more boyfriends I had. He would always give us hugs when we left his house and say "come back and see us!" When he passed away, it was like loosing our leader. Grandma on the other hand. She tough me how to bake the perfect loaf of bread, to "tie a knot" with a weed, and would chase us around the house with a broom handle when we were naughty. She is the strongest person I have ever met. She is always there for baby blessings, baptisms, and weddings. Grandpa Yates. Although he passed away when I was very young I remember him quite well. I would sit on his lap and he would read me "But no Elephants," which was my favorite book. He would call me "Little Debbie" and always greet me with a "Low Low Lacey, Low Low." Don't ask me what that meant.
There is my top 6. Some other and maybe self explanatory things I am thankful for.
Running water
Toilets
Caffeine
Cell Phones
Hair Dye
KitKat's
Tooth Brushes/ Tooth Paste
Books
Glee
Health Insurance
Thanksgiving Dinner (Especially grandma's turkey noodles... mmm I cant wait...)
Enough of that...
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner and enjoy being with your families.
GOBBLE TIL YOU WOBBLE!!!

Hi Lacey! I am so glad that you found me. I am still living in good old Layton. I don't know what I would do if I moved too far away. Keep in touch!
