Amazing Weekend (a couple weekends ago)

Jody's spring break was March 9-13 so we took advantage of his time out of school and went on a very fun date. I did the planning. First we got up super early and headed to the Draper Temple open house. It was absolutely beautiful! I couldn't believe how small it was! The decorations were very modern which I loved and the Chandelier in the Celestial room was breath taking! I had never been to an open house so it was very interesting how it all worked. I was told it would be about 3 hours from start to finish but we were done in 1 hour total. It was a great morning to go. Here are a couple pictures from the temple visit.

After a fun morning at the temple, we went to the Living Planet Aquarium. Jody had been wanting to go there since it first opened. Poor guy! So I decided we should go while we were there in the vicinity. It was pretty cool! Look at this awesome picture that Jody took!

Its a Lion Fish. Very deadly! Beautiful though.

After the Aquarium, we went to lunch here...

It was very yummy! I have ventured out a lot since marring Jody. Mostly for the good. Although I still can't eat Sushi. YUCK!!! Sorry hun!

The day went by so fast. It was so nice to be able to see each other for more than an hour and have it just be us. It rejuvenated me to endure these last 5 weeks of school. Then its summer break! Yippy! It can't come soon enough!

Friday, my family came up for my aunt Judy's birthday and for my (2nd) cousins gymnastics meet up here at USU. She goes to BYU and is VERY good!

Ok so I don't really know her but she is family and it was fun to be there to support her. :)

That evening a not so fun thing happened. My parents parked behind my garage and came into our house for a few minutes before they left for Layton. Well in that ten minute period, they got BOOTED!!! Err... I was soooo MAD! I called the booting company and asked if they would just come and get the stupid boots off the car since my dad can't walk very far because of his leg. Well they were completely RUDE and said no. Well my dad gave the poor booter a hard time. If you know my dad, you know the poor booter probably got back into his truck and cried. But when he was taking the boots off the car, and $70.00 later, he whacked my dads bumper with the boot! Who knows if it was on purpose or on accident but it happened. That was just fuel to the fire. So my dad ended up calling the police at 11:30 at night to make a policy report. He also made the poor booter guy clean his window where he taped the sign onto the car. I love my dad! Even if he is a little scary sometimes!

I agree with you about the temple and chandelier - talk about gorgeous! I want to take Jackson to the Aquarium, I think he would love it! I've heard the booting people are not so nice, good for your Dad for sticking up to them!!
