New Calling
Most people fear the day when someone from the ward calls and asks them to join fellow ward members in having a calling. I have been thinking for quite some time that I would kind of enjoy a calling (as long as its not teaching Sunday School or Relief Society). Our ward is in a fairly new development and we hardly know any of our neighbors. I got a call Saturday afternoon and sure enough, it was someone from the ward asking me to be on the Enrichment Committee! Honestly, I think that this is going to be a great calling for me. My first meeting was before church yesterday and I got to know w few sisters in the ward. Everyone seems really nice. I am excited to get to meet more of the ladies that live around me and I hope I will be able to befriend those in need and touch peoples lives in a positive way. I am eager to get started!
