Halloween Weekend!

This weekend was just as cram packed as I thought it was going to be. Friday being Halloween was a great day. Since it was slow at work, I was able to leave an hour early. So I took full advantage of that and headed up town to VOTE! It was the last day for early voting and the line was not long at all. YIPPY! Then I hurried home, made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, shimmied into my costume, helped Jody with his scary vampire face paint, and headed to Lois ans Dennis' house for Chili! It was divine! We made it just in time to see Jody's niece Melissa and her husband Travis and their 3 kids. Look how cute! Connor (the little chicken) would walk around saying "bock bock!" Ha ha sooo funny!


After seeing a few family members, we headed to Daren and Ashlee's house for a Halloween party. It was so super fun! Thanks Ash and D!

After the party we went home and crashed. Saturday I cleaned the house and did laundry while Jody did his homework. My mom and dad came up and we built shelves for our garage! It was a big project and we are still not done, but they look SWEET! Thanks DAD and MOM and Andy for coming over and helping us take over this huge project! We love you! They also brought us some meat. Thanks to Mildred for giving her life for our bellies! It was a sad day when she died but she is oh so yummy! Ok I don' know if she/he had a name but I still feel super bad that she died because of us. Oh well... IM OVER IT...


Sunday came, we went out to Jody's moms for dinner. YUMMY! Its always nice when you don't have to cook. We played with them for a bit then went home so Jody could head off to work. I took a nice long Sunday afternoon nap, then got up and tried to work on the shelves in the garage. So... I'm not the greatest measurer. so I cut about 30 pieces of 1x2 wood 1/2 inch to long! OOPS! At least its not to short! So if so facto I will be fixing my mistake this evening, and possible finishing the shelves tonight! Then the next big job will be stocking this new shelf with food storage. That will be happening a little at a time. So there is my weekend! I'm tired just thinking about it!
