Happily Ever After

On Saturday one of my best friends got married. It was a wonderful experience to be able to be there with them at the Temple to be sealed. She was the most BEAUTIFUL bride and her new husband wasn't to shabby either.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND...
Vanessa and I were room mates when I was living at the dorms going to Weber State. She because a room mate part way through the year, which is a story in itself. When the girl I was sharing a bathroom with moved out I was so excited to get to move all my stuff where I wanted to in our little medicine cabinet in the bathroom by the sink. I moved my stuff to the bottom shelf and left the 2 top shelves empty for my "new roomie." When I got home that evening I went to brush my teeth and get ready for bed when I looked in the cabinet, what did I find? HA HA ALL my stuff had been crammed onto the very top shelf in that tiny little space! I was a little upset, then after I met my new roomie Vanessa, I could be mad no longer. She was a doll and we clicked and have been super close ever since. Just a little fun story of when we met.

I went to West Jordan and spent the night with Vanessa, and 2 of her friends from her mission. It was such a fun girls night. We stayed up late talking and laughing. I pained french manicures on all 3 of their toes. (They each had 10 toes so I guess I painted 30 toes not 3) Natalie drove up from Provo and Megan drove all the way from Canada! She started out at 4:30 Friday morning and got there at 7:30 at night. What a good friend! I was unsure about how I would get along with the 2 missionary girls but they turned out to be so much fun! I made 2 new friends.

Vanessa and Seth were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 20, 2008. They had there luncheon at the Macaroni Grill in Salt Lake. YUM!






The reception was in Nessa's mom and dad's backyard in West Jordan. It turned out to be a wonderful day. Minus the sporadic rain, and the huge gusts of wind that blew most of the decorations over. :) All in a days work right? We were able to get things under control right before people started showing up for the party. Seth sang and played the guitar for Vanessa. It was the song from Wedding singer " I wanna grow old with you." Very cute! There was a lot of dancing and good food.
